Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950) is an American actor from the United States. The actress gained fame in the late 70s and early 80s through the roles she played in numerous TV shows in which she was depicted as an attractive actress. Fairchild was first noticed with the character Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow in a CBS daytime soap from 1973 to 1977. The first actress to portray Jenna Wade, she made her TV debut on CBS's soap opera daytime Dallas in 1978. Later she landed a leading role in the NBC drama Flamingo Road (1980), that earned her the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in a Television Series - for that series. The following year, she starred on ABC's short-lived, primetime soap Paper Dolls and then appeared in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild is also an actor in theater and played guest roles in TV comedies, such as Murphy Brown (for which she was nominated for an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in the field of Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill as well as Friends. Additionally, she is an SAG-AFTRA Board member.
