Anita Saarkessian

Anita Sarkeesian (Canadian-American) is an activist in the field of feminist media in addition to a public speaking Canadian. Feminist Frequency is a site with video and blogs on the representation of women in popular media and popular. Anita Sarkeesian has been a blogger, journalist as well as an award-winning feminist for nearly 10 years. The harassment, however, did not dissuade her. The experience only strengthened her journalistic skills as a feminist. Her numerous contributions to the field of feminists has been acknowledged by many prizes. Anita Sarkeesian is an award nominated media critic as well as the director of Feminist Frequency an educational organization focused on the representations of women within pop culture and the narratives that surround them.
