
Beverly Lumbres Caimen (born June 20, 1994[1]) popularly referred to as Beverly is a Filipino pop artist based in Japan under the Avex Trax label. Her most well-known works include performances on soundtracks, including "Be the one" in Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" in Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen was born in Calamba, Laguna on June 20th the 20th of June, 1994. She is the third daughter of Ramon Vega Caimen (and Leticia Valdezlumbres). She also had a brother and two sisters. Beverly began singing at the age of 5 when her mother sent her to school and discovered she was gifted at it. At the age of 7 she joined her school's chorus and began singing lessons at the age of nine, when her mom had time. Around this time she entered her first competition in singing, however, she didn't take home the prize. Her mother encouraged her to continue to the next round, even though she didn't take home the prize. Batangas State University gave her a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began chasing after her desires by joining numerous amateur singing contests. She won first place at the World Championships of Performing Arts and recorded her songs with GMA Records and worked with composer Vehnee Saturno. At this time she released her debut and only album for GMA, Beverly Caimen. Beverly won the Harvest of Honors Award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and the Best Performance award of the A Song of Praise Music Festival Year.
